100BPM Setlist

List of 100BPM songs

Learning to play your instrument comfortably at the most common tempos is an important part of being a musician. In fact, you can have all the tricks and licks in the world but without the ability to keep a consistent speed, your playing will never sound its best.

One of the most common tempos you will come across as a musician is 100 BPM (beats per minute). It is the standard tempo of a marching band, the optimum tempo for CPR (100 compressions per minute to help jump start a heart) and is also the tempo used in a lot of dance and rnb tracks.

Although a good metronome is great for developing your ability to play at a constant speed, there are a huge collection of songs you can also play along to that will improve your timing.

Here is a small list of 100BPM tracks you can practice along to right away:

  • Pink ‘Stupid Girl’
  • ABBA ‘Dancing Queen’
  • The Clash ‘Hitsville UK’
  • Blondie ‘In the Flesh’
  • Queen ‘Another One Bites The Dust’
